Mortgage qualification and moving questions

If one were planning to move to another state, how would the bank look at employment as a deciding factor? If I have a steady work history but will obviously have to get another job once I move, will that have an impact on whether or not they grant the loan?

if you get a job in the same field that youre in now.they will look at it allout batter.if you swich youre carrer field then that would fuck you

So you would have to get a job in the other start before you have a chance at getting the mortgage? That seems kinda odd as I don't see how an employer will higher you if you haven't even moved yet

You wil usually need to have at least an offer letter for a new position to present to the mtg co - then before the loan closes a paystub to show that you actually took the job and to verify what your regular earnings are.

Well shit! I guess I'd have to get a damn apartment for a year then? I don't know if I can go back to living in such a cramped place especially considering we have 3 fairly large dogs plus 2 cats. That's gonna put a damper in my plans

have you had a mortgage in the past? Nowadays the mortgage qualifications are so relaxed just find a good broker and you won't have to produce anything. There are no income/no asset verification mortgage's out there and some do the same thing for interest only loans. It's pretty easy
