Morpheus problems

I unintentionally downloaded the newest version of morpheus, which has copyright protections. So I uninstalled it and tried installing an older version but that didn't work either. So now what are my options?

Are there other programs that are reasonably good? Would a system restore work? What should I do now?

If you have XP you might try System Restore; otherwise maybe a registry cleaner to remove tidbits of the uninstalled program.

System restore didn't work, it said there'd been no changes. I'll just shift to another P2P software. I'm worried that morpheus put software on my computer that will tell if I am uploading with another program though.

Damn, I did a registry scan and it found 618 problems. What are the risks of fixing these problems? With some spyware cleaners it says if you clean out spyware it could cause some programs not to work.
