morning or evening?

What time do you guys train? I been training for a few months now. For some reason for the past 2 weeks by time i get to the gym around 6pm its really busy.
Theres so many people that, you have to wait for a bench to work on. So now im thinking of going early morning before work. I just wanted to know who goes to gym early.

For the majority of my admittedly short training career I went first thing in the morn. I am a mornign person and I loved the fact that the place was deserted other than hardcore peeps. Also, it was a GREAT way to wake up in the morning and I was more awake and lively at 9am than any of my coworkers. Did that for about4 or 5 years.

Then I moved and began working from home recently. I live on the West Coast but work East Coast hours. So I train around 2pm-ish. I fucking love it. It all depends on your own body and mind, but I now see why afternoon lifting is so much better. I feel like I have enough food/energy in me to feed my workouts, which I didn't have in the morning.

I could never train after 5pm in a public gym. Too annoying.
 
Evening here. I've tried mornings, but I don't have as much energy. Maybe if I got used to it I would. The biggest problem for me, is I have to get on the road to get to work so early that I would have to start at a ridiculous hour.
 
cardio is good in AM.

seriously though, afternoon/evening is perfect, you need to be fully awake and have at least 2 solid meals in before you start lifting imo
 
Thanks for the answers guys. Yea, Im going to try going around 8pm see if theres a difference or not. But if not, i guess early morning it is.
 
noon works best for me. don't have enough energy in the morning and too tired in the evening to deal with all the people just standing around the machines..
 
my biggest problem training in the night time is if i want to take some caffeine or a pre-workout shake, it will keep me up for hours after my work out when i want to go to bed
 
I usually train around 7:30-8pm gym is normally dead or at least the area I use. I have never been a morning person so I don't like training too early. Recently I've been going in around 2-3pm if I have plans in the evening. That time is fun bcause I get to scare the housewives.

Anytime before 4:00 p.m. for weight training, for me, is useless. Cardio in the morning is alright.
 
morning training is definately better....your test level is higher in teh morning....less calories spent! have a good early breakfast and go psycho!
