Morning Cardio Question

Is it cool to do your morning cardio after a few cups of coffee and no food or should I go with no food and drink?

Hard to get motivated without that coffee,lol
 
Is the purpose on the 'cardio' to loose fat? If so I would say an empty stomach, althought I feel it can be a bit catabolic. Gear helps this a ton, but if you are drug free may drink a small shake w/ 25g protien and 25g carbs prior - that will burn up rather quickly, but the nutrients will help preserve muscle IMO.
 
Guys, coffee is zero calories, right? The caffeine will help mobilize fat stores if you've got an empty stomach and it helps motivate you. Win, win. Still though, a little bit of milk and a small piece of fruit or something helps raise glucose and helps preserve muscle. But it's not that big of a deal if you're just doing some steady treadmill wlaking, etc. Serious intervals or something and you may need to rethink the empty stomach bit.

coffee has like 2-3 calories for every cup. (calorieking.com). Coffee IS a win win thing just like you said, too.
