I would think that even some of the more moderate conservatives would think that being able to go out and get a pill that prevents the egg from even adhering to the uterine wall is preferable to waiting to dind out that you are pregnant, making an appointment with a doctor, and then aborting at, let's say, 8 or 9 weeks into it. I think it is a great thing, so long as the pill is relatively safe. Of course, just staying on the birth control pill would be better.

Both using the regular pill and morning after pill would be good. Im moderate republican and Im all for this because it accomplishes the goal of not getting pregnant without the emotional damage and ethical qualms of going to an abortion clinic and knowingly getting an abortion. Kind of like the guy in a firing squad who fires a blank but isnt told he has a blank. He can rest easier knowing the possibility of not actually shooting a person whereas a woman can rest easy knowing she may or may not have been pregnant in the first place upon taking the morning after pill.
