i should give more details...
i went to the doctor the other day with my boyfriend.. he was totally convinced that i had a low testosterone level, by all my symptoms... and he was right.. they ran some test and i have <.2 free testoserone level- which is way below normal... so they put me on test cyp... and i have always had to fight my weight and i am curious if this will make me gain weight.. i have started exercising- just the basics... i am fixing to start lifting weights.. i am not overweight... i just need to tone up... any responses on personal experiences or any suggestions for anything to supress my apettite would be much appreciated....

DDC - I think what she is talking about is gaining fat.
Hon, I don't know much about cyp although I will do a cycle of it at some point so I need to get up to speed on the stuff but I don't think fat gain is one of the sides. You will gain lean mass quickly if you are pounding the weights which is a wonderful thing and the scale will go up but don't interpret this as getting fat. The lean mass will help you lose fat in the long run. As for water retention every woman is different - you will just have to try it and see.
I don't think there is a woman on this board that would turn a doctor down if he was offering her cyp for a medical reason. And tell your boyfriend to rest up - he's going to need it. :D
