As you can probably imagine, I spent a good amount of time in and around Khost.

Yeah...pretty mountains...until you stand at the base of them with 100 lbs worth of shit. Those SOB's are unforgiving broham. I had every intention to go above and beyond 11B after this deployment....but I'm not sure if I can deal with the BS....

It's broken down now...but I can tell you that after every hairy moment I changed it around...And when I got back to the rear I was still unhappy with it....I guess I have issues.
Now that I go back and look...the few pics I have of myself...my rack is different every time.

what kind of body armor were you guys using?

we had the speer system. i don't really have any complaints...other than having to store (and be financially responsible for) a hockey bag filled with 100+ different pouches. i also chose to cut the bands on my mag pouches because otherwise they were too tight to get mags in and out.
