more computer help please

Can only upload pics in gif and jpeg format but had to cut and shrink some pics as bit maps beforehand and can´t seem to change them back. help...

Umm I dont understadn what you are trying to ask? Where are you trying to upload these to?

what are you viewing them with? ms photo editor? paint? imaging?

cut and shrunk them with paint after scanning them first as jpegs. Had to of course put them into bit maps to play with them. Tried to upload them into a yahoo phota album and was informed that only gif and jpeg formats are acceptable. same for the avatar I think.

I don´t think you can change them back from bitmap to jpeg without photo shop.(which I don´t have) Might be screwed.

no.. you should be able to just open with paint and "save as type" jpeg.. that's it..

the only options it gives is is 16, 24 and 256 color bit map and, of course, monochrome when I do that.

i don't know why it won't allow you to save as jpg or gif.. it did for me.. but i'm on win2k prof.. what OS r u running?

if you resaved them at their new size/format you are screwed. you should have saved them as something else so you would have the original and the new version. sorry mister.
