moodchanges/depression and high estrogenlevels

I've read alot of posts about the "normal" use of anti e's like arimedex or femera. But what did they do for you, when it comes to moodchanges and depression during cycle due to higher estrogen levels ?

they can ameliorate it. Basically by taking an AI, like arimidex, femara, aromasin or AIFM :) you stop the conversion of compounds like testosterone and dianabol into Oestrogens. so you wont have the higher oestrogen levels that cause those problems.

any experiences ?

I had a bout of nasty depression a little past the mid-point of my last cycle (test/deca/winny) and noticed when I switched to Aromasin from A-Dex it seemed to help normalize things. I wasn't as "bitchy" and felt better overall.

Think of PMS bro; high-estrogen = bitching, depressed and upset. So, if you have lower estrogen levels via use of products like Arimidex or Letrozole, you will not have those sides.

Found arimidex to cause some drowsiness, besides joint pain, had to take NSAIDs.

Personally prefer Nolvadex, while it doesnt reduces estrogen levels at all, prevents gyno.
Some estrogen is necesary for growth, specially bone calcification.

steroidal inhibitors, like aromasin and AIFM, are usually better in this respect.

Letrozole seems to suppress brain aromatase too much. So some people need to back the dosage off or take EOD. (long half life)

arimidex often seems to not suppress systemic oestrogen enough.

letro literally crippled my joints and zapped my libido. i wont ever touch it again

usefull info, bros.....keep it comming :p

Testostertone cypionate : This is the steroid most responsible for reports of depression when using gear and can also make the user very aggressive with high doses ...

Thus i stick to enanthate and prop .. sustanon as well .

Funny how i can tolorate these three but i can't handle cyp for some strange reason ... then again we are all different and one of my friends does ok on cyp where as i can't take it any more ..

I was taking cyp... 750mg/week

I said high dose .... i know of guys who do that daily !!

I wish i could do 750mg a week but the stuff does not like me for some reason ...

Prop is painfull for me and cyp makes me moody as hell so that leaves enth or a blend

Personally, I like a little estrogen in my system. The most depressed I've been in the past eight years was when I was taking way too much femara because I was reading my scale wrong.

femara is the most suppressive, it also seems to suppress brain aromatase levels much more significantly than other AI's.

You never cease to amaze me. That explains so much. Thank you. :)

its extremely suppressive, perhaps the most suppressive (in women it reduces oestrogen by more than 99%). There is not enough data on men, but a significant portion of users find that its just too suppressive (though cutting back the dose can help)

I have found arimidex to be moderately suppressive of my libido. I am thinking of trying aromasin. Does anyone know if that is suppressive of libido?

Aromasin didn't suppress my libido, but neither did arimidex. You've ran liquidex, go with liquid aromasin, it's a good product to try. I like both of them of course, but prefer arimidex.

Yes but If u take less letro it would be all good, no?

All study show that letro is better than arimidex letro is not the third generation of Ai for nothing :)

Arimidex NEVER affects my libido

no one is making it complicated. There are a number of options when it comes to aromatase inhibitors and they all have thier individual quirks.

as a note in general many people find arimidex too weak (it is the weakest) when on high dose test or dbol. (ie they still experience significant bloat, etc)

Macro, I am one of those people, big endo's i think still experience bloat with arimidex, that aifm i'll admit does dry me out though. Question, would 2mg/ed arimidex be overkill? I'm on one mg/ed and i still feel like i'm carrying around some h2O.

it would not be overkill. unfortunately studies show there is little difference between 1mg and 2mg of arimidex, there is some difference between 1mg and 5mg some studies used 10mg and 20mg- showing greater suppression and FSH increases

certainly no harm in bumping it up.

hop on aromasin bro you will never look back to the rest :)

not really.. Just because arimidex works "fine" for him does not mean that it works "fine" for everyone.

there is nothing wrong with arimidex and for some people it may be the best option. IMHO for most people its not, particularly if using high levels of aromatizing compounds or with certain inteceding metabolic issues (ie high body fat, etc).
