Monday Night WWF Raw Sucked

I personally think, from now on, Smackdown! is going to be a lot better. Vince drafted the Rock, Hogan, Angle and Benoit and Jericho. Flair drafter all the big giant slow motion guys like the undertaker (I still respect him tough), the big show, kane, nwo's Kevin Nash. The only good choices Flair did were Booker T and RVD. I think it sucks! Raw is supposed to be a better show than Smackdown! but all the biggest stars are on the Smackdown! side. I can't understand why Hogan was picked in number four. I tought he would have been number two. I wish Steve Austin will come back. He wasn't even drafted! That really sucks! On the other hand, I am proud to see Stephanie Mcmahon leave the WWF.

By the way and my fellow Canadian wrestling buddy here Tomalys can relate did you notice that they have stolen the chant "nananana nananana hey hey hey goodbye"

Sorry but this is a classic ans exclusive chant of Canadian hockey fans when we beat your asses.

Its not a new WWF chant just to let you know.

It is actually specific to Montreal canadian fans

Hogan and Nash shouldn't be wrestling anymore........PERIOD!!! and remember, it's all down hill from here. Those guys had two years off from the business.....so what we're seeing now is them at their peak......so imagine what they're going to look like in 6 months after the schedule has worn them down a bit. God they're terrible!!! Nash's chicken legs just can't move that upper body anymore. And Hogan?? God his punches look worse than Billy Gunn's!! He looks awesome.....but vince moves better in the ring than Hogan does. It's time to hang it......Hogan has about 6 months before the novelty of his return has completely worn out.

I thought the show pretty much sucked too, but the draft was interesting.

tomlays, I don't think Jericho's been drafted yet. I thought the 3 participants in the title match were free agents?

I'm betting Austin will still be around. He's gonna be a renegade for a while, running on both shows, I'd guess.

I thought raw was pretty good. Smackdown does look like the much superior show. They destroyed their alreaday extremely weak tag team division. If austin goes to smackdown then raw will really have no one. But on the other hand if he goes to raw he really has no one to fight. They gotta have some trade thing going on this smackdown because the roasters are just too uneven.

This is so right! Canada rules! Nobody can chant the nananana hey hey goodbye like we do. The crowd did sing it, but it didn't last very long. If Triple H wouldn't have told them to do so, those fans would have said nothing and fell asleep. Have you ever seen a crowd like the molson center's?!! Electrified!

That chant is used in just about every sport imaginable, from coaches and players getting booted out of a game to a team being eliminated from the playoffs.

Who started it? Who started it? Who can chant the loudest? The molson center contains more than any other arena in north america. Jerry Lawler looked like he didn't know what was the chant on Raw last week.

I don't know who can chant that loudest, LOL I am too tried for a Canada VS. America debate.

As for who started it, I will give credit to Gary DeCarlo, Dale Frashuer and Paul Leka of the band Steam who wrote the song "Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye)" in 1969. That is where the chant originated. ;)

I'll give you the credit for your knowledge. This Canada versus US debate gets me tired too. You are right about that. But the Montreal canadians were eliminating just about every teams on their path in 1969. The hockey crowd in Montreal made it a tradition; this is what Milhouse meant. Lots of americans and lots of canadians suck too. We're just about the same. We are so close. It's hard to identify and make a difference between a canadian and an american.

Got that right.

BTW- I have to give credit to Google for the knowledge on the band, I just remembered I heard that song before.

Actually speaking of the Montreal Canadians nobody can even touch what thet team did in 1975-76 seasons.

Led by Guy Lafleur they had 8 TOTAL LOSSES FOR THE SEASON And won the cup to boot.

Why dont you get your Columbus Blue jackets to make that feat lol.

Someone answer me this.. why where nWo and Billy & Chuck picked as a group.. but the Dudleyz, APA (which got broken up), and the Hardyz weren't? Not that I actually expect the WWF to have a storyline that makes sense (I'm still wondering who pulled the briefcase away from Austin).. but that was sorta stupid.

The explanation given was that because Billy & Chuck have the strap, they were drafted as a unit.

Personally, I think it's because they'd both suck ass in singles competition.

this draft is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I should have went to the gym instead of watching that.

All I know is that Ivory has one smokin' body though. I'd love to put the camel toe clutch on her.

P.S. All the dancing and crap the hardy boyz and lita do makes me want to throw my TV out the window. They look like a bunch of idiots.

I wasn't too happy after RAW. Then, what made it even worse, is when I read the newsboards and hear that it all was basically pointless anyway! They're saying Vince realizes the rosters are uneven, and they'll be evening em out in the future by trades and other gay shit. That's retarded. It's also retarded that Austin is still fucking the WWF, as if WM18 wasn't bad enough.

Here's some questions I had right after Raw:
1) How are they gonna explain it if Austin doesn't come back at all?
2) What about the talent that was not drafted by either side? There are more than 60ish superstars, don't make me list them. My guess is they'll just bring them in to wherever in a couple weeks and hope nobody notices.
3) What happens when The Game/Jazz lose the straps? Since they weren't drafted, to which show would they go?
4) The WWF has said that this will make their fans watch both shows to see their favorite superstars. Do they realize up to 15% of the country does not get UPN?!!?!?!??! WHORES!!! Guess who's in that 15%?!?!?! Yeah, that's right, me. So here's my list of stars I won't be seeing that I'm pissed as hell about (at least until they have 50 trades and it gets even worse)
-The Man, Hollywood
-My Olympic Hero
-Chris Benoit (I was seeing far too little actual wrestling already)
-Edge
-Kidman
-Tajiri (I'm comforted knowing the WWF doesn't know how to use these last two anyway)
-Chris Jericho
-The Hurricane
-Torrie
-Stacy
-Tazz (see Kidman/Tajiri)
- and who knows about those that weren't even drafted!

If anyone lives in Central Iowa, call KPWB 23 and tell them to start showing Smackdown again (mention the fact that it does higher ratings than anything else they show)!!! And if that doesn't work, call Mediacom and tell them to start carrying UPN.

I'm thinking they should replace the spot of the person who beat them, so it stays 30/30 on each side? But who the fuck knows, once Austin picks it won't even be 30/30 anyways.

I like how Raw got every tall person. I hated how NWO got picked as a unit too, breaking up the dudleys sucks. For the people not picked does that mean they are gone?

ooooo Gangrel? I sure hope so. lol. Is he even still under a WWF contact? I am surprised how many people don't hav UPN but it's a good number. I was in the Yahoo WWF chat rooms and many were bitching that the didn't have UPN.

gangrel had the best entrance an music of all time tho... and the blood and the goblet... too bad he just a jobber to the stars...

Okay, geek trivia time:

Gangrel is actually a licensed term from a gaming company called White Wolf that produces a role-playing game called Vampire: The Masquerade. It's a reference to a clan of vampires.

Chavo Gurerro. 1 hour of Chavo Gurerro. And Gangrel.

lol. It's my understanding Vince will get Heat, Flair will get Jakked, and both will become more wrestling oriented. What about Excess? I dunno.

And those who weren't drafted can't be just gone, because there's some good names not on the lists. Like Rhyno, for one. Also Hugh Morrus. And Chavo! I stand by my earlier guess on the matter.

Splitting up the Dudleys? Bullshit! This actually is a lead reason for me thinking "trades" are gonna occur.

And sadly, I knew that tidbit about Gangrel and White Wolf. It's even in the copyrights for WM 2000 for N64. I am a supreme geek.

We'll get a good idea of where we go from here on Smackdown. Wait, did I say "we". I meant "you" as in you fuckers who can actually see it!!!

Very interesting

I don't have UPN either, as I live in Canada. All I can watch is Raw is War on TSN live every monday. All I will be able to watch from now on is tall slow giants wrestle each other; in other words....boring matches! All the wrestling is on Smackdown! and I have been waiting to see Chris Benoit for a long long time and I won't be able to see his return. That sucks! I only hope there will be trades soon and Austin comes back.

If you listen to John and Jeff from 11pm - 3am , they always use the Gangrel music as their theme song.
