Moderators (re: unwarranted flames)

Well, moderating a board this big is a tough job with hard tradeoffs. Censorship is just bad unless you have people that aren't just ignorant, but abusive. Trying to weed out the "stupid" or "wrong" posts opens all kinds of cans of worms.

For a while there I was concerned that too much well intentioned editing, locking, etc., had become counterproductive.

Lately, I think the mods have struck a good balance.

I completely agree with you. In just the last month or so, I have seen more source posts edited than before. I think the Mods are doing a great job in keeping up.

Again this is not a slam on the mods, nor is it a slam on people asking repeat questions on basic knowledge. It is more a post regarding the people who out and out bash them verbally with no respect for the fellow man. Hacker is exactly correct you will see a difference.
