my vote: get the intel core solo laptop on sale at best buy this friday for $380 (no rebates). granted you'll probably have to be in line by midnight to be able to get one at 5am when doors open, but it'd be worth it.

380 - that's really good - best buy is an hour away
every time they have a sale - i miss it![]()
something to think about though
this one is 449 with rebates

Have to check I was looking at turions before dual core came out and they smoke showed anything intel had at the time.healother said:im not sure how battery life on the turions compare to intel core battery life. does anyone know this? do they even make dual core turion laptops? if not then intel probably at least has the edge speed wise.
AMD's processing takes up less power Intel are hogs generally but they are getting better.healother said:im not sure how battery life on the turions compare to intel core battery life. does anyone know this? do they even make dual core turion laptops? if not then intel probably at least has the edge speed wise.
