The dog would win if it were a fair fight. If the apple were to use razor blades, explosives, and/or poison, then maybe it has a shot.

Don't kid yourself. I've taken enough pictures of him (hundreds), that he knows to stay. As soon as the "click" sound happened he was on that apple like...well like a dog on an apple.
