The stereotypical shitty american car doesn't exist anymore. FORD has gained more quality awards than Honda and Toyota combined in recent few years. Meanwhile Toyota is having constant production issues and issuing recalls.
BMW's have gotten worse in the amount of time they spend in the shop. Excellently engineered cars don't mean crap if everything is constantly malfunctioning. I have 1, I would know.
The Corvette has had a few complaints about the previous design which are now strong points of the car. The new car outperforms the new SRT Viper in every category minus acceleration, given it has 190 hp less, it stills hits 60 in 3.8 seconds. Wait until the next Z06 and ZR1 are released, they will be owning at the track against 400k exotics by more than just a little bit. Ferrari adopted some of GM's technology because it is substantially better and highly innovative.
The new Corvette is a highly praised vehicle on all levels. Styling (opinion based), quality of the interior and tech, and every aspect of performance. It even gets 30mpg. It being American is a good thing these days.

That car is a classic - same year model as the men Chuck likes. Only goes up in value.
