Missing today's workout.

I can hardly walk. It is worse than it was yesterday, and if tonight is as bad or worse, I am going to call in sick to work.
It is my Quads, Hams, and glutes. They are sore as hell, and tight. I have been stretching but it feels like it is tearing my muscle.

Did a normal workout Monday morning. Leg day, didn't push myself too much, felt no pain then, just soreness. Worked monday night, which might have been the cause. I work a pretty physcial job. (very physical some days, Monday night was one of them) Shifting my weight from side to side all night, twisting, and pushing pallets of carboard boxes down a roller.

I skipped my normal workout today because I figured tearing up more of my body will only slow down the recovery of my legs. Am I thinking right and treating it like I had a cold or the flu?

Nah, today was Bench day. My favorite actually, aside from backday's deadlifts. I just didn't want my body to have to recover from two workouts. I could be wrong in that, I dunno. Just seems that if I work out my chest and shoulders then it will take even longer for my legs to finish recovering. (if they even got started recovering, grr)
 
Well, just asking as for me it seems there is Always something sore all week long.

Thurs is Legs so Friday they are sore and I do Shoulders.
On the W/E I work in the yard and rest
Monday is Chest/Tri and so Tuesday my chest and tri's are sore and I do Back/Bi. This is usually the day I appreciate working out with pain in the chest/tri
Wen. I do heavy Cardio and Abs to give the Upper Body a day off.
Then the cycle starts again
 
Monday - back
Tuesday - chest
Wed - legs
Thurs - shoulders
Fri - arms
 
Well, if it was just sore, I would go work out. I think there is something wrong with them. I have been sore before, but this is painful. I can't bend my knees without it hurting, and at work today I almost collapsed twice because my legs nearly gave out on me. Like I said, it is so bad I don't know if I can go to work tonight. Put some Icy Hot on it, hoping that and 10 hours of sleep will help. Can't really afford a day off work (unpaid of course), so I am not looking for a reason to just not to work, or work out.
