Missing Package!!

Ok heres the deal..I am missing a package nothing big, but it should have been delivered sometime last week, and nothing today!! My source is offereing to mail out another package if i do not receive and i do trust that he will come through either way..My question is what are my risks with a package floating around out there as time goes by? It was domestic btw..thnx for the help

Don't wanna scare ya...but the only thing I can think of is someone is trying to set up a sting. Which can take some time to get together. There is no reason a domestic pack should take more than a few days...was it priority with delivery confirmation?

Either that, or your source said he got it out, but is having delays and doesn't want to admit it.

Either way...be safe bro...sign for nothing, and maybe clean house a little bit.

I hear ya..Yes it was priority..the house is cleaned..the funny thing is my mail is so f'd up ive had priority mail get lost going only a few towns away..this has happened more than once!!..thanks bro!!!

When your mailman comes with your pack, slap him in the face with your dick. It works better when you have a mailWOMAN, but it can work for men too.

BTW...what does the tracking say? Just that it was accepted at xxx location?

I actually have a mailwoman lol..shes not that bad :chomp: I asked him for tracking hes looking it up..I know how that sounds but i know others who have recieved from him within the last few days..Im really not worried about the source, just dont like things floating around out there that can bite you in the ass one day!!!

That shit hasn't gone out yet...so I doubt there's anything to worry about...unless it's a shot of epinephrine and you're having an allergic reaction right now. I hope that's not the case. :p

I ship stuff out postal and UPS all the time...its my business...not gear but items....stuff gets lost all the time and the only way you could get set up is by your delivery person...they are the first and only line of defense when it comes to small parcels....i have friends with the USPS and UPS and they all say the same thing...be good to your delivery person and theyll be good to you....they are the ones who draw up the red flags...so just wait it out and be cautious...is all...good luck...also id get myself a PO box

Agree with this. I work for UPS, and delivery guys are just trying to get through the day. When management tries to set something up, the union usually gets the guy out of participating, so it would be someone that isn't a regular if it is a controlled delivery. The cops that hang around my building when air packages arrive look like cops. Among cops, hanging out at our building seems to be a sweetheart job, as they seem to have a lot of time in with the force.

They have a list of addresses, and they check anything on that list. They are always pulling stuff off our belts and getting on their cell phones. But you would have to be pretty slow to not realize something was up if they came to your door.

Keep a good rapport with your delivery person, and there will be smooth sailing. I have had stuff fail to show up lots times, gear and otherwise (books, DVD's). Stuff gets lost, stuff gets stolen, shit happens.

You might want to post this on the legal board.

I agree. My buddies wife works for the post office. The only really check packages that leak and tick and those on suspected dealers lists but those are the guys getting lots and lots of shit. Not us guys getting a few packages a month.

thanks for all the input..i was just more concerned about something floating around out there for weeks on end?? assuming the package truly is lost in the system, what happens to it??

well package arrived..nothing peculiar...saw my regular mail lady around the block as i was going to the gym didnt look like anyone was following along lol..so i guess it was a case of paranoia..oh well :chomp:
