missed shot?

A friend asked me, "What happens when your injecting in your glutes and you do not hit the muscle?
Is it just a wasted shot? Or just not as effective as intramuscular?"

I couldn't give him an answer, but I told him I knew some guys that would know!

any help for me and my bud?

think about it... how could you not hit the muscle.. the arse cheek is pretty much all muscle..

If you injected 250 of test straight into your bloodstream - I would imagine you would feel a bit fiesty...

But what if they were to have a little fat back there?

Gary you must be able to miss it or why is it , on some sites, that have injection procedures, tell you to inject in the upper quadrant of your glutes?

I'm not talking about hitting a vein.... I think you would know this very quickly..... bad taste in the back of your mouth... woosie.. light-headed...(depending on how much you shoot).... even worse.

if you are worried, use a longer needle

like 1 1/2 inch. Does he has that much fat?

My god man, i shoot the butt with a 5/8 incher.

I think his question is what happens IF you don't inject intramuscularly. Maybe the needle was injected at a weird angle and just doesn't go deep into the muscle or gets injected into the fat layer. What happens? Is the shot completely wasted, or will some absorption occur?

I don't understand how you could miss either. Are you closing your eyes during the injection? 1 1/2 inch pins should reassure you that you're not missing the glute and getting into the muscle. That's what I use at least and I have virtually no fat on my ghetto booty...

nobody understands how you could miss a huge muscle like your ass..... That's not the question.

So you all are telling me, with the exception of hitting a vein, you can stick it in any part of your ass or body and your going to hit muscle.

It was just a question put forth to me..

What size needle did he use ? No you can not inject into any part of the glute as I think that is a static nerve and if you hit it then it will not feel nice It is really hard not to hit the muscle though

It will definatly be absorbed in your fat, butt j/k (no pun intended) it will take a bit longer to absorb into body then it would if injected into lean muscle tissue which is absorbs faster, I suggest doing more squats or lunges to build more muscle in the glutes......

Remember that testosterone is a fat soluble substance therefore it generally gets deposited into your fat cells anyway. The only difference that I can see of injecting directly into a muscle/missing the muscle is the rate of absorbtion by your body.
