I've run two dbol only cycles. One for 8 weeks and one for 10. During both cycles I started out at 15 mgs, ramping up each successive week until reaching 35 mg, and then ramping back down to 3 mgs followed by two weeks of clomid.
I gained 15 pounds during each cycle and kept about 12 pounds on each one for a total gain of 25 lbs.
I think three things contributed to keeping so much of those gains, even though so many others report losing their Dbol gains.
First was the fact that I was doing a hard 6 day per week high intensity work out schedule during my cycle. So I was "really" pushing my body and muscles to the limits of my capabilities.
Second was the fact that I was RELIGIOUSLY following a modified "Atkins" style diet, eating tons of fish, chicken, red meat, eggs, and supplemental whey protein. But I did my best to eliminate all forms of carbs from my diet including grains, pasta, rice, sugar, fruits, and starchy foods like potatoes.
And last but definitely not least, the follow up with Clomid that many don't do with a simple Dbol cycle. I believe that Clomid had a great deal to do with keeping the gains I made during each cycle.
I'm sure I'll get flamed by the (if you don't inject you shouldn't be juicing crowd), but I'll be starting a Dbol and injectible Test stack for my first injectible cycle very soon. So I won't be a needle virgin for much longer.
I'll let everyone know if the injectible gains are any greater than what I experienced on Dbol only along with whether or not I keep the mass any better after going off cycle.
