anobody else have this? when you get ready to go to the gym, you start to consentrate on your workout, on your every exercise, set and rep. so that when you enter the gym you are ready for the session at hand? i didnt really know it untill today how much that means to me.

I had a doctor appointment before my workout today. nothing major, just a routine check. well anyway im not to fond of going to doctors, maybe cuz i was a medic and i know the shit that happends in those places. i mostly try to meet my fears head on, so i start psyching myself up for this and my mindsett is clear. dont get nervous, just take it easy. so i get thru this no sweat (as i always do) the nurse even slips me her phone number. so im finished and im heading straight to the gym, but my body, feeling that the event is over, starts relaxing..so i come into the gym totally umprepeared for the workout..i try getting my head back while i change, and spend a couple of minutes on the bench in the locker room trying to get it togheter..i almost make it, but the workout is harder and tougher than i can remember in a long time. i struggle with many sets, and i feel that my mindsett is totally off.

it was a weird feeling, and it showed how training also is a mental thing as a physical thing.
 
If my routine is altered even slightly, it really messes up my lifts. The mind is the strongest muscle in the body.
