Miltary Asvab score..

I took the test 2 days ago and I got back my raw score already which was an 84. THe recruitor told me the score was good and I could get any job in the coast guard. I have been mainly interested in the Coast Guard, but would like to hear about what other branches in the military are all about.

BTW- my vision is not naturally 20/20 so I couldn't be a pilot or seal.

I'm also very physically fit and have a high I.Q.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Bro, get a lisiting of ALL job descriptions that are available and the schooling that goes with them. The military is marvelous for giving you schooling that you could never afford to buy in civilain life - and then when you walk out the door you walk straight into a 6 figure civilian job.

Your recruiter should have a book with a listing of every job in every branch complete with their descriptions.

Good job on the 84. I got an 81 which was enough to gaurentee my ass Combat Engineer for the Marines.

I think i got like a 91, but i bullshitted half that test because it was so stupid it made me want to fart. That is a worthless test if there ever was one. SAT is a better test, i know retards that goot good ASVAB scores. I did terrible on the coding, and i got like a 16 on the car thing because i know nothing about cars. I got real high math scores i remember.

i bullshitted the test, i dont think 91 is that good. what is the highest you can get, i think i know people that got like 116 or something because they knew car shit and stuff.

Actually the raw score which is 4 parts divided into english and math are the scores the military actually gives two shits about!

100 is the highest you can get I think...

I got a 92 on it and I thought that I was tough shit. Then some guy going into the Marines showed me his score and he had like a 96.

I scored a 100 on the administrative portion of the test. I think that I did the worst in the mechanical portion with an 82 or something like that.

I think I had an 84 when I went in back in '93.

What is the score that is basically like an IQ score that is associated with your ASVAB? I had a 128 on that one, which i was proud of.....
