I'm watching this bad 80's Japanese kitten and dog tale on DVD with my cousin. Covers looks harmless and cute. $5 on sale.

Start watching. Pup fighting with a bear, getting his ass kicked. Kitten in a box going down a waterfall. Kitten eaten by a snake. Baby chicks whacked by cat. Cousin is sitting there traumatized by all the animal cruelty going on. WTF. I had to stop the fucker after 20 mins in total shock.

Googled and lotsa people pissed about it. Heard they went through 20 cats and dogs during the filming. Favorite line was "We need another cat!".

Damn Japanese. I'm glad we bombed the fuck outta them. Karma baby.

there is no conclusive evidence that they did harm animals. All just hearsay.
