Well i think i posted this question like 8 months ago, and i got flamed, but here i go again.
Allright, my buddy who is a nutritionist (or something like that) and is pretty massive might i add, believes that Milk is bad for gains because, milk comes from a female cow and it contains little amounts of estrogen, thus hurting gains. He drinks minimal amounts of milk just to get enough calcium, and uses egg whites to mix his protein shakes. He says that since he has cut out milk that he has put on some size, i still think that it's a mental thing, and there is no scientific proof to back it up. Also he says that the more dairy products you take in, it goes straight to your skin, and your skin gets thicker, thus affecting the potential of someone to become muscular and cut. I don't know what he's been smoking.
But i asked my brothers wife, who is a registered dietition, and has her masters etc. And she beleives that there could be some truth to that, but during the purification process of the milk the estrogen (or most of it) is eliminated. So she told me not to worry about that.
What do you guys think? Any scientific evendince to back this shit up? I still drink my milk....but you know, if you hear it a couple of times you have to start wondering.
