Migraine/headache sufferers?

What tests can i get done to rule out more serious symptoms of migraine/headaches? I get them almost once a week........but they do go with a good night sleep. Not as bad as some who get them for days.

I still want to get tests done though to rule out anything serious like presence of tumours or any other abnormality.

What have other people done here in the way of investigation/tests to try and isolate the cause of migraine/headaches?

Cat Scan - go to your doctor and explain your symptoms

Food Allergies
Indoor/ outdoor allergies
Hormonal imbalance
Environmental Factors
Emtional stress


Migraines are not headaches.
Headaches are a symptom of migraine.


Can you define the pain and the location?

Thanks babe.

when i get them the pain hits pretty much on my forehead, just a bad ache with a throbbing type sensation...........behind the eyes. when they hit, it renders me useless and the only remedy is sleep. If i hit them with Ibuprofen early on it helps greatly, but once they have started, it's too late.

Oh and I forgot - sinus headaches - look into that too.
