My buddy has been juicing for over six years and because he was busy and missed his shot earlier decided one night he would shoot his HG deca and test E In the glute 10 mins before bed. For the next 4 days his glute swelled up and was black and blue but not red as well as no fever. I think the explanation is that because he shot and went right to bed it formed a small cyst from lack of movement. Lesson to be learned... shoot earlier in the day so you can be active before bed. Dont know if it was the reason for sure but food for thought. Very sterile guy so I doubt that was an issue.

Well just found out it got so bad he went into the ER and told the Doc he was shootin B12 into his gluets for fatigue... doc asked about his technique used to do injections and said he was doing everything by the book. Come to find out he got an infection from injecting a piece of his own skin into the injection site. They gave him an antibiotic IV drip and a antibiotic prescription. So no matter how careful you are sometimes its just gonna happen. Thankfully for his sake he doesnt sit and wait until they need to lancet it and drain. Something we can all learn from here. No matter how sterile it can still happen.

I hope that's a typo. If not there's your prob. right there. He should have used 1 1/2" pin and sunk that bitch all the way in. No way would 1/2" pin do the job in your glute.

well they used several antibiotics and the one that worked happened to be for skn and something else that only one gram somethin bacteria feeds on so... wasnt a shot in the dark

that's why i clean the fuck outta my skin with alcohol first. i know alotta people say they don't but your skin ain't clean without that alcohol. my brothers ran three cycles and never did until i told him what ive read here about staph and such.sorry to hear that though, hope he does alright

This is true... bacteria love oil, something he failed to mention to the doc.
