Times Square is considered to be in Midtown.
Are you going to be on the East or West side? Times Square is 42nd & Broadway.
Where is your hotel located?
Seriously, I would go another weekend. Do you have to go up that weekend?
Bobber said:There you are. I was hoping you would reply because I trust what you say. We are staying at the Benjamin on 125 East 50th Street. And I already paid for the room!

You will be fine. Above Times Square, but not too far.

Bobber, your place is well located in Mid-town. Central Park starts on 59th. There will be parties EVERYWHERE from downtown to 'da Bronx. There will be MANY people there so avoiding the crowds will be difficult. Are you trying to hit a bar or some sort or lounge?
KillahBee said:avoiding the bars will be impossible maing. you picked one of the worst times ever - why?!
LMFAO @ what is anisette!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bobber said:I just wanted something different to do with my friends and we all figured it would be fun. No one in my group has ever been there so everyone is excited. So should we go to Da Nicos for the night or is it just a restaurant? What is anisette? Where will be our best bet?

bro, I'm sure you can find some less crowded places. it all depends on what you are into (ie are you and your friends the bar type or the dress nice lounge type). Some of the best nights I've had in NY involved just walking around going to random places and then following the crowds or the nani
Bobber said:Well wtf is anisette man? We like bars but we will all deffinetly be dressed up. Yall are not being much help dammit.
Bobber said:I want to be far away enough to avoid the craziness but close enough to wehere it is fun as hell...is the central park area going to be far away enough to avoid the crowds?
