Mid-mid life crisis, anybody else close to 30 have this...

I'm 28 and have had no crisiseises.

With how I am, I can see it hitting me around 50, or even 60, when I realize that I've already lived a hell of a lot more then I will in the future. When I see people who are 20s that I know will be here long after I am gone. That can really fuck with ya.

It hit me hard too. I had a mid-20's crisis (LOL). That's when I got my ass on track w/ workouts, applying to grad school, etc.

I'm 28 and still feel 18.

And ha ha go ahead, someone say it. "you still act like it too!"

That's a part of my problem, I still feel like I'm 21-22.

And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful
Wife
And you may ask yourself-well...how did I get here?

Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money’s gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.

And you may ask yourself
How do I work this?
And you may ask yourself
Where is that large automobile?
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house!
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful wife!

Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money’s gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.

Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Water dissolving...and water removing
There is water at the bottom of the ocean
Carry the water at the bottom of the ocean
Remove the water at the bottom of the ocean!

Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/in the silent water
Under the rocks and stones/there is water underground.

Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money’s gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.

And you may ask yourself
What is that beautiful house?
And you may ask yourself
Where does that highway go?
And you may ask yourself
Am I right? ...am I wrong?
And you may tell yourself
My god!...what have I done?

Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/in the silent water
Under the rocks and stones/there is water underground.

Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money’s gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.

Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

I'm 49 and I guess I missed my mid-life crisis.

So how come the quarter-life crisis is at 25, but the mid-life crisis is at 40? Something doesn't quite add up...

I'll be 29 in September, I'm scared of 30 just because it seems that by then you should have all your priorities and responsibilities in order. I'm a few years behind :(
