Microwave or Oven

I've always baked my homebrew gear but would a microwave have the same effect ?

dont use a microwave, yo can easily overheat the gear

but as rj says, there's no way to really control the temperature.

microwaves heat from the inside out.......your gear would be cooked

Whats with cooking the fina, I am about to make a batch and much of what I've read involves no cooking, just filtering, I also read somewhere I think that cooking is not needed and causes oxidation.

Can someone fill me in or give me a good link

Cooking will kill all the bugs in the homebrew, just incase. Just cheap insurance you know the saying better safe than sorry. I cook mine for 20-25 mins at 250 degrees and never had a problem with infection.
As so the microwave idea Im with the rest of the guys, its not a good idea.

well i think i know the alcohol kills bacteria within a couple days, not instantly and that none of you really know what you are talking about j/king

i've also used fina without heating it and i've also had my galblatter taken out due to infection and i'm 22

what does this tell me ?

Your post makes absolutely no sense........

Telling us that you've had your gallbladder surgically removed has nothing to do with this post.

It doesn't hurt to bake it. I even rebake mine every couple weeks if I make one big batch upfront. When you withdraw the sterile tren from the vial, it is replaced with unsterile air. Bacteria spores are not likely to grow in a alchol/oil based solution, but why take the risk. BTW: I have done hundreds of homebrew injections and NEVER had an infection or abcess.

No microwave!!!

Can pharmadan or anyone spell it out how to bake fina, temp, how long for, at what stage of process, do you then refridgerate etc.?

thanks. Has no one ever experienced there homebrew being slight less potent after baking i.e. some of tren or whatever oxidising??

bake at 250 for 45-60 min, after filtering

ive tested baked gear - no loss in hear. dont go over 275 though ( i use a highly sensitive thermometer in the oven , your stove themometer is ALWAYS wrong LOL)

Thanks rj, just one more dummy point - I'm guessing you mean 250 deg. F, not 250 deg. C??

And do you keep it refriderated?

250 deg. F. Refrigeration is not necessary. Paul_allen has you covered well on the rest.
