microwaing fina

I read a reply where a guy used to draw up 1ml of fina into the syringe, remove the needle then put it in the microwave for 10 secs as a sterillization method. Has anyone got any opinions on this? Is it a good method of sterillization? Will it fuck up the fina?

I am by no means an expert but nuking fina in the microwave can not be a good thing. No matter how long it in there.

I just cook the 50ml bottle in the oven at 250 for 40 min.

You do not need to heat fina in a microwave with kits from www.finakits.com --

If anything, it will just warm it up.

don't microwave it, don't bake it, heat some water to about 160-170 degrees remove from heat source, place vial with rubber stop off and let it sit with neck of vial above water line for 7-10 minutes. All bacteria should be destroyed by then.

I understand microwaving destroys the molecular structure of micronutrients. I have also assumed it does the same to the testosterone molecule. Fina? I don't know, but for that reason I have never nuked my fina.

Microwaves are just radio waves commonly in the 2.5gighertz range that are absorbed by water, fats, and sugar. When absorbed they convert to heat and we know what happens when things heat up. Simple, I can not imagine how it would hurt test or fina.
