ahhhhhhhhhhhhh - Michelin Man was created in 1897 and tires weren't black until 1912, when makers first began adding carbon black as a preservative. Until then they were either a gray-white or a light, translucent beige.
i want those cool new tires that don't have a side wall and don't need air. you just have to worry about re treading them. forget what they're called but i think goodyear made the prototype or someone did!?
i don't think they'd ever hit the streets for sale since cops wouldn't be able to use spike strips.
