It is unconstitutional, but no one knows how all this will shake out.

I figure the supreme court will get it sometime around 2012. Then it will probably take another 1-2 years to fully understand the ramifications of the decision.

So let's just play it safe and say no more US-based jobs until 2014. That works for me (and for a ton of other employers too).

Kinda sucks that those tax cuts really didn't create many private sector jobs over the past decade, huh?

We'd probably be in a much better position now if they had worked at least a little.

I have a different thought on this one.

Every generation, we need a super libtard like Carter or Obama to grow government and screw-up the economy.

But we also need one super-religious nutjob to then take the power assumed by the libtard and beat everyone into unconsciousness with a bible.

So 6 presidencies x 4 years/presidency means we're overdue a religious nutjob.

Hence, I am going for Perry/Bachmann 2012, but only if they pledge Sara Palin, Jimmy Swagart, Mick Huckabee, Glen Beck and Jim Baker members of their cabinet.

It only seems fair.

Note that a conversation like that is still more insightful than a garden variety monkey-boy stock picker.

Iowa isn't particularly relevant.... I watched a delegate in an interview, it's a caucus state, claim they're social conservatives over fiscal conservatives.

I'll give the Keynesian answer to the lack of their success, "It would have been worse and we should have done more (spending/tax cuts)." See, that cop out answer works for everything...

Those tax cuts created an economic expansion from 2001-2007, and it wasn't a particularly good one but we were coming off a major bubble in the stock market which destroyed massive amounts of wealth in this country (five trillion). However, people just focused on leveraging housing and treating them like stocks because political, fiscal, and monetary policy was used to create bubble 2.0. You have increasing government regulation from the EPA and congress that limited the growth and success of potentially productive businesses while making giving houses to people that can't afford them the growth industry of America....

She got pwned by Gregory on Meet the Press this weekend when he brought up her own words from 2004, she claimed the greatest threat to America was gay marriage, not big fed government..the national debt...two wars epic failing...nope it's the gays getting married that is the greatest threat to the country. She has not only advocated an amendment to the constitution forbidding gay marriage but also an amendment banning of all pornography; Which means she lost the EF vote...

I watched that and he pwned her big time, but she didn't seem phased. She didn't answer one question directly; so robotic.
 
After being unemployed since Jan 2010 I moved back to Atlanta and found a job within two months. I hereby dub the Recession/Depression OVER and I didn't even have to vote Tea Party! In twelve months I will buy some poor schmuck's foreclosed home for $50K and commence hurling long distance water balloons at Plunky. Carry on, my wayward sons.
