my computer is being slow...what does it say?
That he was bald, had a bunch of caps in his mouth, was underweight, had lung inflammation and BPH, his room was loaded with a bunch of prescription drugs and when the EMTs showed up his pupils were fixed and dilated, he wasn't breathing didn't have a heartbeat and between the ambulance and the hospital they performed CPR for two hours before pronouncing him.
Coroner's conclusion: Basically, he died as a result of acute propofol intoxication that was administered under improper conditions.

I forgot to mention MJ had benzos in his system, but that's been public, too.
I'll tell you what happened. The doctor injected MJ, by MJ's request, with propofol, watched him for a couple of minutes, thought his breathing and pulse were fine then for some reason left the room, probably not long, 10/20 minutes, tops. If you read the anesthesiologist's consult it says that a bolus usually causes breathing to stop quickly and the doctor had definitely given MJ this shit before so maybe he thought he knew what to expect and thought everything was fine.
Anyway, he came back in the room and MJ was dead
It was probably a combo of the propofol and lorazepam that did it, and maybe the doctor didn't know MJ had taken the benzo, or maybe MJ had told him he'd taken the benzo but told the wrong time. No matter, same result.
The fact is the propofol was not administered in a safe manner with the proper resuscitation and monitoring equipment. Period. Maybe the man was only doing what his employer told him to do, but that's no excuse, he didn't have to do it, and he was the medical professional. And who ever heard of giving anesthetic as an insomnia remedy?

so MJ had tattooed eyes, brows and lip (shocker), fake hair, vitiligo, a permanent catheter, prostate and urinary tract issues, colon cancer, weak lungs, mild brain swelling and congestion, mild joint osteoarthritis, calcified arterial atherosclerosis and an aortic balloon pump, shit as a Dr I'd be terrified to prescribe him a damn glass of water without him getting sick, how/why the fuck did they give him such strong shit?
For the record, I have never believed any of the stories about MJ being a kid diddler. Was he odd? Yeah, but my take on that: His parents were Jehovah's Witnesses (a seriously fucked up religion), his father was an abusive asshole, and he had been performing professionally since he was less than 8 years old. If he wasn't entitled to being weird I have no idea who is.
He had zero self esteem (thanks dad) and was stuck being somewhat childlike because he was driven into a seriously messed up life. Show business screws with people's heads and is 100x worse when you're a child star. MJ was in a whole other stratosphere and I doubt there will be another like him. That he made it to 50 was a miracle by itself.
I always thought he was kind of a sad person, and anyone could see his children were simply heartbroken at his death -- for all his quirks and oddness they loved him. That spoke volumes to me.

Not sure about the kid stuff, who knows. He seemed like a nice caring person, drugs seriously alter how people operate though. If I were on his cocktail I would probably act in a similar way. He never confronted his issues because everyone used him. Elvis died almost the same sad way, surrounded by yes men who fed him drugs and tried to make money off him.... And yet the role models for many people are these drug addicts.

Probably not.... he was 5'9 and 136 lb's. According to the autopsy Doc his BMI was in the proper range. lol!
Hell, if he was a supermodel at that height and weight (not unreasonable) he would be considered obese!
How many guys on this board would think a 5'9" woman is heading into chunk city if she weighs 136 I wonder?

What I don't understand is why the doctor made recordings of MJ speaking while he was under the influence of drugs. I can't imagine there being any legitimate medical reason to do that. It raises lots of concerns in my mind about whether the doctor had any respect for confidentiality.

Did you grow up in a dysfunctional family? Did you have an abusive parent? There is a huge difference between a pressured upbringing and a parent who verbally and physically abuses you. MJ was flat out abused. Dance right, sing it right or get the belt. Getting hit by a belt by an angry person hurts. He was also told regularly by his father that he was ugly because his skin was too dark and nose too wide. When he hit puberty dad's next favorite thing to make fun of him over was his acne. MJs dad was a real fucking saint.
I did, so did both of my husbands. I've thought quite a lot about it.
I can assure you, the correctly applied parental psychological abuse combined with the appropriate amount of thrashings, used on a child of a sufficiently sensitive child will create a permanently neurotic adult. No therapy talks it out. No matter how well you do, inside you never stop being the child expecting the belt/smack in the back of the head for any blunder, you never stop hearing the words that were the foundation of your childhood (you're not good enough, you're ugly, you're stupid, why didn't I give you up for adoption, blah, blah, blah).
The addiction generally stems out of a desire to make the pain go away. Things just get worse when you have sleep disorders.

Addiction doesnt develop through life, addiction is prewired before birth in the prefrontal cortex of our brain through cognitive functions that triggers dopamine response (eating, booze, exercise, sex, drugs, etc), 10% of every human on earth have powerless addictions that they are unwilling to control. It can manifest worse through psychological tragedies during in your upbringing but MJ would still been a addict regardless. This has been studied for years and MRI's proved it, along with the success of the big book/12 steps that hasn't changed since the 30's because its proof addiction is a disease is and has every symptom of one. Again, 5 same successful siblings, similar upbringings, Mikes dead, not them.

addiction can have a medical background to it, if ur grand daddy and ur father were alcoholics or drug addicts you have a shitty background, but you are forgetting the psychological side of it, some people abuse substances to "feel better" even if it's just for a couple of minutes and they feel so incredibly bad they will consume anything and everything to rest and get those lovely precious minutes back, there is no pill to help with the void, sadness, anger, hatred, loneliness, anxiety, etc people feel.... that's were abuse happens, be it drugs, food, objects, etc

Yes, genetics play a role without a doubt.But, The only time I ever drank too much was after a bad break up. Having enablers around you all the time makes it so you never have to confront any of your problems too.
