The Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks will both be trying to pick up a win on Thursday when they battle at American Airlines Center.

Oddsmakers currently have the Mavericks listed as 13-point favorites versus the Heat, while the game's total is sitting at 190.

The Heat stumbled toward the end as they fell 112-102 to the Houston Rockets Wednesday night. Miami entered the game as slight 2.5-point road underdogs and the game's combined 214 points sailed OVER the posted total of 183.

Dwyane Wade netted 27 points, three rebounds and nine assists in a losing effort

Dirk Nowitzki scored a team-high 26 points as the Mavericks got past the Houston Rockets 80-77 Thursday night. Dallas failed to cover the 3-point spread and the final score fell well UNDER the posted total of 184.

Nowitzki finished with eight rebounds and shot 12-for-22 from the floor in the win. Jerry Stackhouse added 17 points for Dallas.

You're a paying Platinum Member. Name changes are part of Platinum Member benefits. If EF is offering the service with a glitch in it, it shouldn't be a "favor" to get it fixed. Admins are only hesitant with fixing name changes when people screw around with the function knowing it's problematic, and then whine about losing their posts.

I don't know if the glitch is an easy fix or not, but EF should be happy to reinstate lost karma/posts/whatever for Plat Members using a privilege that's part of thier membership. (I'd fix it for you, but I don't have that kind of power.)

I think it has to do with being such a long time member that my original e-mail address is no longer in use by me.
I did the name change and it was fine,changed my password too.
the next day I posted under my new name and did an avatar change and I was kicked into some kind of limbo and all was gone
as a test I even bet my 10 karma on an event I hosted
I need my karma in bonds to book
I don't really too much care about my post count and/or my 500+ PMs
I'm keeping my posts and activity under this new handle lean until it's corrected.
I guess I fire a message to admin

I know there's been problems with name-changing and invalid email addresses, but I'm pretty sure the loss of karma points, PM's and posts is a result of the namechange glitch. If the system required the correct email addy, it would't be letting you post as a plat member and stuff. I think you're either registered and able to post, or not registered and cannot post. The email confirmation is only pertinant with respect to being registered... it shouldn't be selective.

that's one of the reasons I've refrained from changing my name
for continuity's sake I've keep it though I despise it
I never intended to post much here and made maybe 2 dozen posts in the first 2 years
anyhow I can no longer log in as 4everhung as that's now an invalid username
they need to reinstate the hung account as it was and then change my name to Spartacus
and I'll go from there
