Metallic Taste

I know its a well known fact that the combo of either one or the other of bad breath and smelly pee is signs of ketosis.

But I also read that you get a metallic taste in your mouth while in Ketosis? Cuz if it is, I sure has hell am in ketosis.

I feel like I've been chewing on a friggin stop sign!

yeah I notice the metallic taste alot more than I notice my KEtone Sticks showing Ketosis, but there are other variables that factor into positive ketone stick readings such as time of day, amount of water, etc. I would say that the metallic taste shows that you are nearing a good ketosis, if not allready in it, but I also use sticks. YOu just have to understand how your body works to get the best ketone readings, just a little trial and error.

yeah...pee smells funny especially when using ALA...

never noticed the metallic taste thing....although, I get serious cottonmouth when i'm on an eca stack and doing the keto thing.

I dont recognize any taste but my pee smells like a dead possums butthole.
