Met Lee Priest Last Night

Great guy. Bought a picture than took two 1 on 1 pictures and he would not take money for them so I bought two more. He was guest poser and his wife Kathy was there loking happy. They thanked me for buying two pics I thanked him for taking two wth me. Very nice guy, smiles, said no to nobody a true professioanl looked great. Johnny O Jackson also posed out of shape and guess getting ready for his next show. Looks very big and thick and I have known him for a few years but to be honest don't care for his body anymore. Lone Star Classic this was the show I was gonna do was way to long. We left at 11:30 and it was the novice lightweights ( my class) and the winner looked okay but I was so pissed at myslef for getting sick as I would have easily won the class. Saw the middle weights not 1 was in shape and than left as I had spent almost 5 hours there and had not seen open men or novice heavies. Show was poorly run and how many folks want to stay up past 12 in the am watching bodybuilding when it starts at 7?

I've met Lee several times, he's really cool, kind of quiet, but he knows how to treat his fans. One thing I always notice about him are his hands. His hands are solid as a rock, like one big frikkin muscle!

Funny you mention hands. They where hard as a rock must be growth hormone as I have never shook a hand that had that feeling and I have shaken many hands. He is freakin huge in the biceps and triceps and was in 90% shape.

Glad to hear that you were well enuff to make it Bro. I was there too. I even went to the prejuding. It started at 9:30 am and didn't end until 3:00 p.m. So I went and grabbed a bite to eat and hung out with some friends and was back by 7 for the nite show. I agree that the show was poorly run. Had everything gone smoothly we could have gotten out of there by 11 pm yet we were there til almost 1 am. I met Don Youngblood. He's probably the nicest pro I've ever met. I saw him talking to a guy and then he walked away from the guy so I went over to ask the guy if that was Don Youngblood and he said yes. Don saw me come over so Don came over to me to talk. I couldn't believe this 285 lb mammoth was coming over to talk. He was the coolest. As for Lee, he seemed to try to be courteous to some but I did get a chance to see the ass hole side of him. Johnnie Jackon and Lee were at the same booth and when Lee came up Johnnie introduced himself and told Lee that he had admired him all his Life. Lee just nodded his head, said, "oh yeah" and said nothing else to Johnnie. That was a bit of a disappointment but I've heard before that he could be this way. My class was the Open Light Heavy and I thought had I done the show I think I would have qualified. The Open Super Heavy looked Great. The Novice Heavy is ready to compete at the Open Level right now. My buddy won the Open Heavy weight class. I thought it was very close between he and the guy that came in 2nd. Overall, it was a good show but lasted to long.

Ripped agree, Lee stayed far from Johnny but was great to his fans. Johnny is new and will have to earn respect and Lee has earned it. Some of the folks around Johnny I knew where saying he was so much better than Lee and these where backstage guys so Lee amy have gotten wind of this. Johnny is no Lee Priest. I spoke to him for a while and his wife was also very nice. Maybe you saw me blue old navy cap and Prada pullover and I am short. Spent most of my time by Lee as my seats where there. Wish I could have seen all of the classes but we got back to Austin at 4 am. The promoter is a very cocky person whom I know but this show was poorly run.

I met Lee as guest poser at a local show last year. He was a decent guy but I thought he seemed rather indifferent to most of us, even the ones that bought his autographed pics. I shook his hand and also talked to his wife for a second. Also, Lee wasn't in great shape when he posed.

Jay Cutler was the nicest pro I ever met. I told him he got shitted at the Olympia and I think he really appreciated that. I bought two of his pics and told him that he looked great while guest posing (which he did). Jay is awesome in person.

From what I understand, Dillet was a prick and dry cod with no persoanlity. I haven't heard of competeing in the last few years.

I always thought he looked freaky as hell. He was a mass monster with the tiny joints and small waist of a Flex Wheeler...truly a unique combination. Actually, I really liked his physique.

Dillet probably had the best genetics of any pro in recent memory but he trained lazy and couldn't pose for shit. He could have been great.
