Comes out just a bit under $600, not including the monitor. If you have any of the components I already listed above, you're already in better shape. You don't need a 1ghz machine for the stuff you listed, but I picked that processor cause that was the "slowest" CPU/motherboard combo www.econopc.com had. Find a slower combo and you'll save more bucks.

It's SOOOO easy to build a good computer for a low price these days just as long as you stay away from gateway and dell and all those people.

Oops, I forgot about a video card!!! A cheap video card will probably cost another $50-$100... if you want to play games, get yourself a GeForce2 GTS 32mb. With what I listed above, you could get some pretty good FPS in Quake3 at modest graphics settings (Quake3 is usually a good benchmark for gaming ability). My system is basically what I listed above except I have a Geforce2 GTS 64mb and 256 ram. Other than that, in terms of performance, the machines are the same.

Make sure you shop around for better prices. =)

Not sure. My dad paid for the family. I think it was around $600 per person or so for 2nd best cabin.

Yes yes and yes. The food was unbelievable. The quality of the food and of the waiting staff was equivalent to that whicih you'd find in one of those restaurants where you call a day ahead to make reservations and they laugh at you for thinking you could possibly get a reservation so late.

Not free, unfortunately. I think somewhere around $5.

They didn't check mine. Bags were taken by crew just outside the original port in Miami, loaded on the ship... then they were left outside the rooms on the night before returning and they magically appeared sorted in the port back at Miami. To the best of my knowledge, they didn't check them. Mine was locked, so I don't see how they could have. I could have brought a buncha gear over... hehehehe.

They didn't have any porn movies (that I know of). =( I did get to watch Dungeons & Dragons for free, though. The movie is actually not that bad once they kill off that Wayans guy.

Yes, I slept by myself in the bed, but not in the room because my sisters were in the other beds.
