I call bullshit. First off, "in" is a pathetic term that no one should use in reference to what they wear. If you want to wear what's "in", then you will look like everyone else. Like everything else, if you wear a gold chain with style, then it is fine (IMO). I wear a gold chain with a St. Anthony's medallion that has meaning behind it. It is neither large nor gaudy and is only seen when I have my shirt off (in the confines of my home).
PS- never had a girl complain about it.
