Anyone here have or know someone that has a defibulator? Can you still workout? What lifestyle changes have to be made?

I don't know about a defibrillator, but my grandfather has a pacemaker and is stronger than anyone I know (oh wait, strike that, I know BFold) - he still works out everyday.

as for a defibrillator - I would guess that driving might be out.

As I understand them they are designed to shock the heart when they sense an ABNORMAL rhythm of the heart.

A fast rhythm due to working out would not be considered abnormal.

have you been diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse or something similar?

hypertrophic cardimyopathy (thickening of the heart musle)

I am also not responding to the medication.
