ME Upper - Week 2/Phase 2

felt great all day, and i had a good day in the gym, not as good as i would have like, but oh well.

4 board press - 365 x 1. 385 x 0. (50lb pr.)

Seated OHp - 185 x 2.

jm press - 225 x 2 x 3. 40lb pr.

barbell behind the neck press zott press - 65 x 2 x 10.

hammer grip db power cleans - 15's x 4 x 8.

took all of 35 minutes.

thanks, but as im nearing my first powerlifting competition, im concerned about not being that good on the bench.

i know that its a good workout, but i just feel i should be advancing so much further.

its like on dec 12 or 14th. i dont know i used to think my weakness was my chest/shoulder/lats becuase i always got stuck somewhere between my chest and mid way up. but no my 4 board press is only about 40lbs more than my full rom bench press.......... so i guess......... even though i never though i would say this, my triceps are my weak point............... i never thought that would be the problem.

im so confused.

dont see how, the lats arent that big at the top of the lift. a 4 board press on me gives me about a 4-5 inch rom, thats pretty much 100% tricep. so i dont see it as lats being the problem.

i mean think about it, i can bench 315+ full rom with a pause. but i can only 4 board 365, a whopping 50lbs more!?!?!?!? you would think that if my tri's are so strong i would be able to press a lot more than just 50 lbs for 8 inches less rom.........

......... you know???

oh, and kingc.......... i like them, but they are a lot harder than with dumbells, you'll see what i mean./.
