ME Lower 10/3 with broken barbell

Wahey, I used some music for the first time ever :)

Squat GMs 132 x 3 & 248 x 1, Straight-leg GMs 132 x 5, 1 Arm Deadlifts 132 x 4, Broken Barbell

Squat GMs (first time doing them, so its a PR)
88 x 3
132 x 3
176 x 3
198 x 3
220 x 1
231 x 1
248 x 1
264 x 1

Straight-leg GMs (hammering my weakness, going to be sore)
132 x 5 x 5 sets

Rack Pulls
220 x 10 x 3 sets (cardio!!!)

1 Arm Deadlifts
132 x 4 - right side (barbell came apart and the plate slid off after the 4th rep)
70 DB x 5 x 2 sets - left
70 DB x 5 - right

Side Lunges
BW x 10/side

Hopefully the video works out okay?

Its been on the verge for a while now.

Because I lift on carpet and without collars, the plates tend to shift a little and press against the bar on an angle. That probably has something to do with it.

looks really good, those stiffleg gm's look like murder on your hams. good arch on the gm's though.

Any reason for the squat gm???

wow, i was doing squat GMs all wrong. NIce Job on the workout though. What muscles were you hitting with the 1 arms ???
 
i'm gonna do squat gms sometime next week...thanks for the vid btw

king - the stiff-leg GMs were murder on my hams, especially across the knee joint.

t3c - vids are a massive help for all parties, without a doubt :)

ffknight - the 1 arms mainly work the obliques and core. Little bit of grip work, but not hugely significant.

Suston - no reason in particular. Just wanted to give them a try. I don't like them as a ME exercise. There are better ones to use :)

BodybuildingUniverse - I don't know how to fix the bar properly. I slid it all back together, but it still moves around. My girlfriend's dad can weld, so when he gets back to Australia I'm going to see if he can fix it. Or maybe that is way off track?

dude, the same thing happend to my barbell. Just use some duct tape. It works, seriously.

For me they were neither here nor there in terms of really focusing on a weak point. I mean, I could either squat or GM more weight that I could for a squat GM... I guess I don't understand the logic behind it? I think its important to know WHY you're doing an exercise.
