MD6 Discontinued!? Why? What to take now?

Geeze, I was just going to switch off of Xenadrine onto MD6 and I can't find it anywhere, I"ve been told its been discontinued! What should I Do? IS there somewhere I can still buy it for cheap??? Are there better alternatives???

I havn't heard of Thermadrene? How do those compare with MD6? are they similar? better? Any links to comparisons of MD6, Xenadrine and such with other brands (like reviews) would be appreciated.

Many supplement companies anticipating the FDA crackdown and suffering astronomical insurance costs for marketing ephedrine containing products are pushing their ephedrine free products and will likely drop the ephedrine containing products.

But have they been able to prove yet that Ephedrine causes problems at all? From everything I've read there is nothing wrong with it if taken as recommended. The biggest reason I heard they are 'cracking down' is because it competes with a lot of prescription weightloss drugs from huge pharmeceuticals. And you know how our government is, its OWNED by big corporations.

Well, if the FDA wants to pull it then they do have to prove it's harmful. However, a direct act of congress could ban it and that only requires enough media hype and a grass roots effort, which already exists.

So the current MD6 that is produced by biotest isn't the 'original' ? I am curious, as all the sites I've been to say its 'discontinued' or 'out of stock' are they talking about the original formula???

There was an original MD6 which was reformulated for whatever reason. About a month or two ago Biotest announced they were completely discontinuing MD6 but were developing a replacement fat burner. The replacement will contain no ephedrine/norephedrine.

Whats the big difference between the original and teh reformulated version? Is one less effective then the other? less ingredients? substitutions?

The FDA had pulled one of the original ingredients(PPA I believe) and they reformulated it without the PPA.

I liked the Mass Quanitites PPA product but their new formula didn't impress me. I just got a bottle of the new MD6 and it has a noticable thermogenic effect. I also like it because it contains ALA and 5-HLTP. I've only been taking it for a day but so far I'm impressed with it.

Me too, the new MD6 is a lot stronger then Xenadrine it would seem. I hope it helps me to lose another 40 lbs.

I was on Xenadrine for 1 week at minimum dose, 3 weeks at recommended dose. And I just started MD6 after a 2 day break (ran out of Xenadrine, had to wait for it to arrive). I was told I should only take it for 2 more weeks and then quit totally to give my body a time to adjust, and that way after staying off of it for like 4-6 weeks when I get back onto it my body will have lost any resistance it developed from it. True?

if your looking for MD6 try the local (ack) GNC's. A place down here has 6 bottles left and is currently doing a 15% discount for any non-gnc produced product so its a nice deal.
