Maximizing safety of BTN Press?

I included these in my routine a couple weeks back and I really like them..here are some steps I took to make them as safe as possible

-Medium or Medium\Close Grip
-Only down to ear level
-Reps between 10-15
-Keep negatives at 3 seconds

Anything else I should add here? I do rotator work and don't have any shoulder problems and I want to keep it that way
 
Make sure the bar doesn't stray backwards is the only thing I can think of as well as don't bounce at all at the bottom.

I prefer not do do them myself. Tweaked my shoulder doing them back in high school for a couple weeks. Seated dumbell press is a better/safer exercise imo.
