Max intensity on cycle?

I have done a few cycles in the past, but moved and lost my source. Anyway I have been doing a Max Intensity routine for almost a year, all natural, and have seen amazing results.
I recently got my hands on some gear (Test and D-bol) and am thinking of keeping my same routine on cycle. The problem is, my workout partner thinks I am nuts to wait 3 to 4 days between lifting while on cycle.
I have been lifting for over ten years, and this workout works best for me by far...
Anyone have any experience with this?

If youre getting great gains naturally with your current routine, I wouldn't change a damn thing bro.... Recovery time is shortened while using AAS, but you still need time off.... If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it....

I agree. AAS enhance recovery. You may want to try training every 2-3 days instead, but if you're results are there stick with it.

As said above bro, personally im a big fan of max intensity even when off, do what works for you.

ALWAYS do what works for you, theres no reason not...ever hear the phrase "if it aint broke dont fix it"....

Yeah it is like HIIT, I kinda tweaked Mike Mentzer's workout to fit me. Basically the main principals are slow steady reps, only one set per body part, and at least four days in between for total muscle recovery. The better you get at "stressing" the muscles the more rest in between workouts. Some of Mentzers old clients would wait 14 days between workouts!
I was super skeptical, but I stuck with it and got amazing results.

This sounds interesting. On my last cycle I did four weeks of dogg crapp training and my strength went up loads. I was training three days a week, hour per time, each muscle hit every four-five days, again only one set to failure.
When I returned to normal volume training it was great, 315 for 7 on bench, five plates for a good 5 reps on squat, etc
My appetite went up a lot too even though I was training 3 time per week instead of usual 4 or 5

I hope I'm not understanding you guys correctly, you only lift 3x a week while ON?!?

and here I thought I knew what I was talking about...damnit!

Well bro, if what you are doing is working for you then stay with it.

dullboy is long limbed so that high intensity stuff doesn't work for him at all.

i needs to works out a lots.

Haha nice avatar dullboy. I love that movie, I thought everybody had forgot about Falling Down. Best part is when he flips shit when they won't serve him breakfast a minute before it ends and then he makes them cook him up something.
