My parents have purchased three apts in BA in the past year and they will buy another in the upcoming months. At a 3:1 exchange rate, the apts show a lot of value. I think it's a wise move on your part. I'm on the corner of 49th/7th.
Manny, yes. It is still VERY well priced (at least in terms of dining, transportation, etc). Since the Peso was devalued from the dollar (and Argentina's run with five Presidents in four months), the Peso shot up to 4 to 1 and now it's around 3 to 1.
