I smoke daily
I powerlift.
And my ambitions are high as hell.... in fact VERY High
Weed has saved alot of people from beatings, but im highstrung and weed relaxes me. BUT i also never let it get in front of weight training. As for if im going to lift, i would never ever smoke before a workout (i do loose some energy).
I bet my gains would be somewhat better w/o weed, but honestly i doubt its effecting to the point where i have to back up and say, WOW i gotta stop.
Also, the study that shows weed lowers test levels has already been disproven....There have been several threads asking this, i started a thread a while ago and got the studies in replies...
Besides weed doesnt lower protein synthesis, all it does it make u hungry. Have some willpower and realize your hungry because of the weed and if u make excuses that you can stop eating while high, they your too weak to be smoking, since when its time to quit you wont be able to.
NOW if you take ibuprofen after a long workout, have fun, ibuprofen lowers yours bodies ability to heal, maybe we should be talking about that =]
P.S. i have smoked at least 1x daily for the last 3 yrs around......i will cut it out one day, but not now....Its the only thing i do to relax....

And im only 20
So if you say weed will demotivate you, make sure you point out everyone is different.
