Mandy's Log... Being WAY too lazy!!!

It's probably time that I start keeping track of what I'm eating and my workouts (I honestly don't know the last time I was at the gym!). I've been eating like crap... Fast food at LEAST twice a week, if not more. Not eating breakfast...
I'm not planning on competing, I just want to feel good and look good... and get into shape before I go to Vegas early Nov. I LOVE brooke Burke's body and that's the 'look' that I'd like to achieve.
Stats as of right now:
Just under 5'7''
124lbs
Not sure on Body Fat %
Here are some 'before' pictures, that were just taken this past week. I'll try to update them every 2 weeks or so!

I didn't work out today, but I've eaten better than I have in I don't know how long lol Good compared to what I usually anyway! :)

M1: 1/2c oatmeal, 4 egg whites, one whole
M2: Vanilla Protein Shake (blend), with 3 frozen strawberries and 1/2c skim milk/ 1/2c water
M3: 3oz pouch of albacore tuna, mixed with 1 tbsp light mayo, 1 orange
M4: 4oz Salmon, small spring salad with 1 tbsp low fat feta, and a little balsamic dressing (only 15 cal., no sugar)

That's all I've had so far. I may have some cottage cheese before bed.
 
Yep you're a tubby. I'd just give up now.










OMG I'm sooo jealous of your stats. :) I'm 5'7" but more like 25 lb heavier....

Congrats on setting the goal & you'll look fantastic in Vegas!
 
lol, Thanks Sassy. I don't think I'm tubby at all, I just need to start working out and eating right (like I used to)... I'm just not feeling very good, no energy.
How much Cardio do you think I should do?

Ps.. I've seen the photos you posted from your comp! I def. wouldn't mind weighing 25 lbs more if I could look like that! :)
 
Honestly I'd probably focus more on lifting & diet. Cardio may just cost you muscle - you're already lean enough in the sense of body fat - lifting gives more definition & shape.

Cardio - probably keep to something like 20-30 min HIIT 2-3 x/ week, no more. Lift like balls to the wall, consider a carb rotation in your diet as if you were cutting which gives energy for lifting but still allows a little fat burning.
 
Ok, well I've already went off of my 'planned' diet lol. Ugggh.
I was going to have Oatmeal again for breakfast but instead I had a bowl of Special K with Skim Milk. Anyway, here is the REST of my meals for today...

M2: Vanilla Protein Shake mixed with Frozen Peaches, 1/2c skim milk, 1/2c water
M3: 3oz Grilled Chicken, 1/2c organic brown rice, 1c steamed broccoli
M4: 1/2c low fat cottage cheese, Mixed with 1 Pear
M5: 4oz Salmon, Spring salad, with 1 tbsp low fat feta, and Balsamic dressing

What she said :D You are obviously already very lean, so I would suggest you just tighten up the diet and lift hard & heavy to build a quality muscle base. That's what I'm trying to do too at this point in time.

I'm confused.... U appear to already have Brooke's body?!?!? Am I missing something. What exactly do you want to change on your body that you don't think is the same as hers'?

Well, thank you.. I just want to maybe drop a couple % of body fat.. and hopefully feel better in general, not necessarily what I look like. I just haven't had any energy lately, been tired, etc. I'm sure all the fast food for the past 3-4 months hasn't been helping in that area.

Well energy was probably zapped by the diet then. I had to look at your pictures for the third time.. What body fat?!? Where do you see fat that you need to lose? The statement of dropping body fat and feeling better and not concerned with what you look like is kind of contradictory to wanting to look like Brooke Burke.
 
I NEVER said I wasn't concerned with what I looked like.. I said the main reason I'd like to start eating better was to feel better.. not 'necessarily' the physical aspect. Of course, looking good is a bonus! All of us want to look good, right? I think brooke burke is leaner than me. I HATE my arms with a passion... In those pictures you can't tell, but trust me, there's def. fat on them. I'd like a more defined mid-section... Maybe I need to post a photo that's more clear so you can see what I'm talking about.. Also, my legs.. they used to VERY lean, I couldn't even pinch the fat on them... now there's def. a layer of fat, especially my inner thighs.

I guess I should rephrase what I said in previous post.. I would like to drop a couple % of body fat, to FEEL better and LOOK better.
 
Treilin, here's a clearer photo so you can see what I'm talking about. My legs used to my best body feature, they're def. not as lean/cut as they used to be... In person you can actually still see the def., hard to see any at all in this photo though lol

M5 ... Going to a benefit tonight, not sure what they're serving. I'm eating right before I go so I wont be starving and eat everything in site. I'll behave, tiny little portions :)

I ran for 30 min. this morning on the treadmil ... 3min., at 7mph, then 2 at 5, 3 at 7, 2 at 5.. , .etc.
Haven't started lifting again yet.. I guess I'm just overwhelmed with what exercises to do, in what order, what weight... etc. I'm going to do some research tonight though when I get home.

Mandy OMG you look absolutely amazing! Print out The Shadow plan.. you'll really work well on it! Always make extra chicken breast take it to work etc..

When you do your research tonight read through the shadow plan.. Def!!

Thank you so much, Ilk, you're sweet :) When I used to eat right, and was living on my own, I'd make enough chicken to last me at least 3 days, same with brown rice, steamed broccoli, etc.. ... NOW, my boyfriend (whos VERY into fitness), that's basically all he'll eat is chicken, and I think since we've lived together I've just gotten very lazy because I got tired REAL quick of having to make 2 lbs of chicken EVERYDAY. Even when I make more than that, it seems like he just thinks it's more that he should eat lol. I make it one night and it MIGHT last until the next day! ... I guess I need to start hiding some extra pieces in the fridge somewhere hehe.

I totally understand!!! I do get abit UGH.. With having to grill 2 trays every 2days..!! Same with brown rice!! I eat broccoli raw.. first time I tasted it.. Yes it was dry.. But I've gotten used to it.. It's supposed to be better than steaming it.. I just munch on it at lunch..

Good that your bf is into it too.. I would def add some muscle to your figure.. It'll look amazing! More definition.. ;) Start hiding those pieces in the fridge!

Have you had a look at the shadow plan? ;) (oh and I love Nars too, Orgasm blush! you should try Deep Throat blush aswell.. that would suit you)! ;)
 
I know what you are talking about with the definition... I think starting the plan will be good for you. Like S said PM him with questions he is a big help and wealth of knowledge. Bunny and I also ran the plan so either of us can help you out too.
