Male birth control

Just lookin for some feedback from people with scientific / medical backgrounds or anyone else that has some input.

Here's the deal: starting Monday I will be participating in a research program for male birth control. They are going to insert 4 testosterone pellets in my abdominal area. The pellets will release 1.8 mg of test into my body every day. The researchers will track my semen count every 3 weeks.

Now I know that 1.8 mgs of test a day is virtually nothing compared to a 'real' cycle but I am wondering what effects if any I might expect from training and solid diet over the course of a year? What is the normal production of test in 30 yr old males?

I get a complete physical examination and 1600 when its over, and I believe its a worthy cause so what else could I ask for.

Thanks for any input

I believe 2 mg - 11 mg is the usual range... testosterone levels don't fall drastically until you are 50...

Funnily enough I have just come back from the Science Museum where they had a display about the Male-Pill containing a pack of testosterone Enanthate, and some pellets....!

I would think that your sperm level would only drop slightly... I would think that your natural levels would be largely unaffected (decrease to the tune of 1.8 mg?)....

1.8mg will do jack shit for your muscles...

Just for the sake of education I thought I would post as I go through the research program. Since the initial screening I have learned that it is 1.8 mg/pellet so just over 6 mg/day is being released. I just had the pellets inserted yesterday and will post updates as I progress. For the doubters, I have a friend that has gained 12 lbs in 4 weeks already :D

Hope the nurse that get your semen every three weeks looks like Pam Anderson...what an expirement...good luck...keep us informed
