Making Money

Steelheart

New member
After reading SteelBeasts post about the stock market etc..

That got me thinking...there has to be a way to make more money then working 9-5.

I once tried those send 1$ to six people ect. nothing in return.

My ex did that Woman Helping Woman pyramid csheme, she lost $300.00!

There has to be more to life then working.

My dad was an iron worker for years... built his own house and everything paid off.

Goes to his cottage when ever he wants...

There has to be more to offer!

Sounds like your dad worked his ass off.

Almost anyone who has a lot of money worked their ass off for it. Or they inherited it.....which means a long time ago someone worked their ass off for it.

There are other ways than 9-5...but no easy ones...

at least none that I know

Or McDonalds Monopoly Game. Nothing comes easy no matter what you choose as a means to make a living or fortune legal or illegal.

Working for yourself would mean you get to work whenever you want, and you are you're own boss. I know my dad did that and he made very good money. If you work for someone else you are just a slave its eems like. That's why I can't wait to start working for myself.

same here....

I want to open up a gym. (who doesnt?)
But I dont have a business sense. :(

In a way Im lucky because I am native and do not pay taxes. And to build a house only cost is the materials. (on the reserve)

The Native Affaires actual give young people like me money to start up business'.

i need to take advantage of that.

I don't understand how anyone can make money owning a gym. Think about it. Lets say you have 100 members that are paying 30 a month. 30 times 100 times 12 is 36,000 dollars. But you have to pay for all the equipment, plus employees, plus repairs, plus janitors. How can someone make money at that?

Working for yourself you'll find out isn't all glitz and glamour either. It takes even more dedication and hard work than working a regular job or career, the hours maybe longer, damands maybe greater, and many times you may or may not have the time free for yourself to do whatever you wish. It certainly takes more sacrifice than most people expect.

joining and cancellation fees

the gym i got signed up to has one way. it advertises supplements like mad, makes them seem as potent as steriods runs special offers every once in a while, and sells em in the snack bar...easy $$ especially if the person buying doesnt know what they are buying (i.e. poor quality whey).
