making gains- both natural and on juice- when hyperthyroid

hey guys, i am actually hypothyroid- meaning i dont make enough thyroid hormone.

so my dr put me on armour thyroid, which is great, i have better energy and ive lost loads of weight.

but now i want to get back in shape. im probably over the limit of thyroid now, as i am on about 4grains a day of armour, which i sometimes bump up to 6 (once in a blue moon after a huge pig out meal)

i am enjoying being on an elevated level of thyroid, but i am concerned it will effect my performance in the gym when i start working out properly again next week.

i am also on full testosterone replacement at the moment- 100mg test a week.

i was considering upping my dose of test, and doing some anavar, to get a little kick start, but generally what are peoples thoughts about working out as a hyperthyroid- im i going to have problems

cheers

you'll basically gain more like a hardgainer, hard to put on muscle, hard to put on fat, so eat a lot of cals!

im surprised that im hyper, when im only doing 4mg of armour.

anyway i know i must be over as ive leaned down fairly quickly-

would you say that the gains ill make when slightly over will be that much harder to achieve.

is it possible to achieve solid gains when one is over the thyroid limit

should i try and keep it in range before i hit the gym and diet

Wait a minute. If you're hyper, why are you doing any armour at all?

sorry nelson, i wasnt clear

i am hypogonadal (low testosterone), and hypothyroid (low thyroid).

i was prescribed armour thyroid, and now i am hyperthyroid (ie i think my dossage is a little too high as i cant sleep right)

my question is whether

1. being slightly hyperthyroid will inhbit gains
2. being very hyperthyroid will inhibit gains dramatically.

I am already on propecia also, so im worried its going to be like slamming into a brick wall.

cheers

Dude, just lower your dosage. And drop the Propicia. It's an anti androgen.
