maintance routine

This is for the advanced lifters here. I am late intermedite to early advanced lifter.

What time of routine's for general maintance do you guys follow when you just finish a great bodybuilding or powerlifting cycle that really taxed you?

You know after you made some strong gains but your cns is wiped out. I would like to see what others do to hold and even slowly gain after a great 8-16 week cycle.
 
I wouldn't try to gain at that point. I cut back on volume and focus on other aspects of my life for a while. I still go at least 4 times a week typically but don't push myself as hard. I also take the time to drop the weight slightly (or at least use a weight I am comfortable with for a good 8-12 reps) and focus on my form. I think it is a good time to get your neuromuscular pathways where you want them so that everythign is firing properly for the next round.

For instance, I was bringing lower back into my deadlifts too much so I focussed on tweaking my form a bit 9to take lower back out of hte movement a bit mroe) and tried to get it better with lower weight so I would be ready and used to the form I was after when ready to start making gains again.
