i picked up a 3 year subscription to muscle and fitness a couple months ago, i have been reading it since i was in high school its a decent mag, (they also do flex, but its the same exact articles in both) i like M and F because they offer a new workout every month, not always functional for your gym situation but a good way to read up on new training styles or even refresh on the tried and true methods. I pick up muscular development once in a while because they do have some informative articles, but it is geared more for the juice user, your honestly not going to find a "muscle mag" that is not filled with adds for supplements, but if your looking for a straight workout mag without any mention of juice Muscle and fitness is probably your best bet
